So this time I bought a figurine in Yodabashi Camera. It was cheap, it looks very cool, so why not?
This is the titular character from Garo, a live-action series in Japan. I've actually only seen about 5 minutes of one episode, but it does look like it's worth a closer inspection.
I should really try and arrange my figurines a little better though. :(

The last full Busou Shinki set I have, and it's Benio, the samurai armour. For this photo I put all the armour on, but I think she looks cute with the basic armour too. I'll get a photo when I get back from my holidays.
Yes! I'm going to Australia! And I won't be back until the new year, so have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Yes, I have several more of these Busou Shinki figurines coming along. You've seen Maochao, the cat-based armour, so here's Howling, the dog-based armour.
Still to come, Benio (Samurai-based armour) and Tsugaru (from IIDX, and sporting Christmas-themed armour).
I'll try and knock up something in the 3D scene generator provided with the figurines. :)

When I saw these figurines on Konamistyle, I thought they were so cute and awesome I had to see what they're like...
And they are really cool - Konami's new Busou Shinki series is a combined real-life figurines and online figurine thing, with a program which lets you create your own scenarios using the models you own.
Is collecting these kinds of figurines considered a bit... well, Otakuish? But they're so cute! :(
